Lead Scout

Terms and conditions

Last updated 3 August 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

Lead Scout ("Lead Scout", "we", "us") is operated by Tochukwu Ogbechie Daniel, trading as Cool Web, of No. 12 NAFDAC Road, Narayi, Kaduna, Kaduna State, Nigeria. When you use Lead Scout you are entering into an agreement with us.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle handles all payments, billing, taxes, invoicing, subscription management and order-related enquiries.

2. Acceptance

By installing, activating or continuing to use Lead Scout you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you are using Lead Scout on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

3. What you get

Lead Scout is a Chrome extension that builds filtered searches on public search engines, collects publicly published business contact details from the results, removes duplicates, and exports them as a spreadsheet. A paid subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the extension for your own business purposes, within the limits of your plan.

Plan limits are published on our pricing page and are enforced by our licensing service.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Lead Scout:

You must not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or sublicense the extension, or attempt to circumvent its licensing or usage limits.

You are responsible for how you use the data you collect. Cold outreach is regulated in most countries, including CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), and GDPR and PECR (UK and EU). It is your responsibility to comply with the law that applies to you and to the people you contact.

5. Our intellectual property

We retain all ownership of Lead Scout, including its software, source code, documentation, name and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

6. Service availability

We do not guarantee that Lead Scout will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we do not guarantee any particular result — including the number, accuracy or quality of leads found. Lead Scout depends on third-party search engines and websites that we do not control and that may change or restrict access at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown on our pricing page in USD; applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.

Payments, billing, taxes, renewals and cancellations are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Those aspects are governed by Paddle's buyer terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the link in your Paddle receipt, or at paddle.net. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact you first and give you a chance to put things right. On termination your licence key stops working and your right to use the extension ends. Any leads you have already exported remain on your own computer.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with Lead Scout is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, lost data or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use Lead Scout after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: tejidanny@gmail.com. For anything about a payment, refund or subscription, contact Paddle at paddle.net.
